About the Journal

IJIIS: International Journal of Informatics and Information Systems is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the exchange of high-quality research results in all aspects of Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Data Sciences.

The journal publishes state-of-the-art research papers addressing fundamental theories, experiments, simulations, and practical applications. Published manuscripts are expected to present a systematic proposed method, an adequate review of previous studies, a comprehensive discussion of findings, and a concise conclusion.

As part of its commitment to advancing Informatics and Information Systems research, IJIIS implements an open-access policy. All published articles are freely available online without subscription barriers.

Focus and Scope

IJIIS provides a forum for the exchange of research findings, analysis, information, and knowledge in areas that include, but are not limited to, the following:

Informatics
Operating systems, algorithms, computer architecture, computer networks, computer security, embedded systems, cloud computing, Internet of Things, robotics, and computer hardware.
Information Systems
ICT interaction with society, ICT applications in social science, ICT as a social research tool, ICT education, e-business, and e-government.
Data Sciences
Statistical analysis, data mining, big data, artificial intelligence, text mining, machine learning, predictive analytics, and computational intelligence.
Information Technology
Information management, Internet technologies, mobile technologies, digital platforms, information infrastructure, and technology-enabled services.

Peer Review Process

Initial Editorial Review
The editor evaluates whether the submitted manuscript is suitable for IJIIS based on the journal's focus and scope, readability, methodological quality, similarity score, and compliance with the journal template.

Similarity and Quality Screening
The manuscript is screened using Crosscheck-Turnitin or another approved similarity-detection system. Manuscripts with significant methodological flaws or excessive similarity may be rejected.

Single-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two qualified reviewers under a single-blind peer-review process.

Author Revision
Reviewer comments are sent to the corresponding author. The author must revise the manuscript and provide a structured response to each comment.

Editorial Decision
The editorial team evaluates the revised manuscript and the authors' responses before the editor communicates the final decision.
6
Copyediting and Production
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, proofreading, and layout preparation before publication of the final camera-ready article.

 
Publication Frequency
IJIIS publishes four issues each year. Regular issues are published in January, March, September, and December.
 
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available supports a wider global exchange of knowledge.
